Estate Planning
My firm provides representation for a variety of estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills, living wills, trusts, including charitable trusts, and related financial planning documents. Through careful selection of instruments and management of insurance and other property, clients can create Estate Plans that will carry out their objectives during their lifetimes and after their deaths. I specialize in advice for, and the creation of Complex Trust and Estate Planning.

Probate & Estate Administration
My firm handles the related area of Probate and Estate Administration. Probate is the legal process by which a person's debts are paid and assets are distributed upon her or his death. Estate Administration includes the probate process as well as non-probate transfers of the deceased's assets. Colorado state law directs the probate court how to distribute the deceased's estate. It is important to consult an attorney with expertise in this area of the law to ensure that the deceased's assets are distributed correctly.

Elder Law
My firm handles issues specifically related to the elderly population. I provide advice and assistance for matters related to health, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security benefits, contracting with in-home caregivers and financing long-term care, as well as matters involving abuse, neglect and exploitation, guardianship, and independent living options. Through the creation of specific instruments such as Medical Power of Attorney, Guardianships and Living Trusts, I allow clients to maintain control of their lives and continue their independence through their senior years.

Real Estate
My firm represents both commercial clients and individuals in all proceedings and transactions that deal with real property-land and the structures attached to it-including purchase and sale, construction, mortgages and foreclosures, leases, zoning, title examinations, quiet title actions, closings, and management.
